Why are our sachets not recyclable?

Our sachet material is not recyclable, all sachet film is a composite material made up of different layers and for this reason, it is not recyclable.

Currently the technology to recycle such composite materials is not widely available, hence we state that the sachet is not recyclable. This is like other food packaging material, where the general rule of thumb for recycling is, if the plastic is rigid, it is recyclable and where it is flexible, it is not.

Because of the nature of our product, being in powder form, we need to protect the powder from air, so the sachet material must have barrier properties against the atmosphere, hence the need for the various layers of material.
